miko2I'd write a long post about something or other... but I'd rather play around with new stuff.
My computer works! Thank the computer god, whose name is Michael. I played around with IrFanView last night, which is a nifty little program, then I made two music CDs to listen to in the car. Now I must make music cds for my friends! Old drive took hours to burn a cd... new drive takes minutes. Happy!
Among other things we downloaded at Gene & Mike's house, Arachnophilia refuses to install correctly. I'm not sure why. And for some reason I seem to have not saved my old version... although I have another version on my laptop. But that's the program I use to update my web pages.
I've discovered that a 500mhz machine with 384mb of memory and a Geforce 4 mx 420 64mb video card is STILL not really powerful enough for the newest zones in Everquest. Kinda scary to contemplate.
