miko2News flash: The Seahawks still suck.
Boy am I glad that I drove to the store last night and bought supplies just as the storm was really winding up to... well... um... go away. Anyway, I made sure I had pop in the fridge and beef stroganoff in the crock pot so that when I got up today to watch the Seahawks game, I wouldn't have to think of braving the cold... the ice... the snow... well actually, the not-so-cold, completely dry streets of Seattle. Either way, it was nice to have food and drink and not have to do anything but sit on the couch for a few hours.
Mind you, the house needs to be clean by next Saturday, so after the Hawks proved once again how hard it is to catch the ball when both hands are firmly gripped about your own neck, I set to cleaning the bathroom. The kitchen isn't too bad, but the livingroom/diningroom is a mess. Tom said he would help later, but first he absolutely had to go buy a chair at Boeing Surplus. Good thing he's got a truck now instead of his old MR2.
