miko2Playing more Second Life. Last night I ran into a friend again who spends all his time in the game as a white tiger morph/furry. Afterwards I decided that I should buy a furry avatar for my secondary character Miko. I went shopping, and found a very nice vendor with a lot of different cat designs (where my friend got his, actually, I realized). There were some raccoon avatars there from another vendor, but her stuff was more cartoonish, and I was really attracted to some of the cat avatars... i wound up buying a snow leopard set that honestly makes my character look a lot like Satin.
Even the body shape (which came with the costume) is very Satin-ish, more stocky and boyish than my character is normally. Anyway, it's quite cute. ^_^
I met up with some other furries at the place where I bought the AV, and eventually one of them gave me some lessons on how to build things in Second Life. I checked out his bio -- he lives in Seattle, he's gay and has a husband. I asked if he'd ever been to Conifur and he said yes, but he hasn't been the last couple of years. But he's planning to attend this year. Who knows, I might have met him before.
