The Seahawks won, after looking like they might lose. Yay.
Oh BTW, yay for the Washington Husky Women's Volleyball team, 2005 National Champions. Yay!
I got some mushey peas and other things for my brother-in-law. Yay!
I failed to get my mother to answer the phone, same as last week. I tried twice today. I'll have to try tomorrow -- it's one week and counting, and I don't have any ideas for what to get for several of my relatives. Boo!

Was just checking out Abigail Washburn's web site and I clicked on a link to an NPR interview with her on World Cafe, and it included the information: "The record also features musicians Bela Fleck, Ryan Hoyle of Collective Soul and Jordan McConnell of the Duhks."
Sheesh. I mean, I knew the cd sounded really good, but now I know why. ^_^ I assume most people have heard of Bela Fleck and of Collective Soul, but the Duhks are also a band I like very much, a young Canadian modern folk band that is very good in their own right. ^_^
