miko2I watched Serenity last week. I've been wanting to pick up Firefly on DVD, but I waited through Christmas in case someone bought it for me. ^_^ I nearly broke down and bought it at Fred Meyers two weeks before Christmas, but I was good.
I got a gift certificate for Christmas to Borders. I decided to put it to use picking up Firefly. Only, I don't normally go to Borders so I can't remember if there's one on my way to or from work. Probably at Southgate, I guess.
Anyway on Monday I went with Jeff and Jeri-Lynn to Fry's, and while there I tried to find Firefly. They didn't have it because they suck. So I told myself it was just as well, since I had the gift certificate.
On Tuesday I tried to stop by Northgate on the way home, but now that Christmas is past they close at 9 pm, because they suck. But that was okay because really, I had the gift certificate to get the DVD with.
On Wednesday I stopped in at Silver Platters. They had Firefly -- for $50.00. I guess they don't completely suck, but I was certain Fred Meyers had had it for less. I decided to pass on it. Or I could use the gift certificate, of course.
On Thursday I went to Fred Meyers. I tried the one in Auburn, but they didn't have it, because they suck. So I stopped at the Greenwood Fred Meyers near my home. They didn't have it either. They suck too. The guy I asked about it said that it always sold out immediately, and they only sent a couple of them at a time. He might have some in tomorrow, he didn't know for sure. His suppliers must suck.
Which is just as well. I have the gift certificate after all.
I'm guessing the chances that Borders doesn't have it are about 95%. If I'm right, then it's proof that they suck too!
