No Rest Fo Joo!

jeffreycornish, kehf and dehd came over today and loaded up their van and car and my Cruiser, and we moved stuff down to Auburn to my new place. I had thought that I had a lot of boxes to move, but we moved everything there was already boxed plus a little extra.

jeffreycornish and I stopped at Jack In The Box for lunch before coming back up, while kehf and dehd were off to deliver two bookshelves to chuckmelville.

I was sort of planning to take it easy the rest of the day, watch the Seahawks (they won! Wooo! Superbowl baby!) and do a bit of packing, but when I got here Tom was busy loading his truck with stuff to take to Goodwill (actually Value Village). So I helped him load more stuff up, and wound up boxing up a lot of stuff while the game went on, and doing a load of dishes and then cleaning out the microwave so that Tom could take it to Value Village on a second trip. I also went through the shirts in my closet that I haven't worn in four years and tossed most of them out too, and Tom sorted through all of our recorded video tapes and picked out the few that he wanted to keep, and the rest are going away somewhere, to Value Village if they'll take them, or to give away at his costume party, or something else. He's also going to take two boxes of books that I have to Half Price Books.

So... I haven't had time to goof off all afternoon. I've actually got an awful lot of packing done, which is good, that's what I needed to do. ^_^
