I woke up this morning and I said to myself, "Self, you've got to stop talking to yourself as if you're two different people." "You got that right," I replied. "Let's stop this nonsense right now."

So anyway, I got my mailbox key thing resolved, which involved them making me a new key instead of listening to my statements that there was something more fundamental wrong because the key didn't even come close to matching the lock. Which, as it turned out, was because I had the wrong lock. Suffice it to say that they hadn't shown me how the mail box was supposed to work, and I hadn't figured it out on my own. But nevermind now because the problem is fixed.

Except. The post office is apparently trying to delivery all my rerouted mail to "Apt M10" instead of "Apt M101" Yay for truncated addresses. Somehow the notice of my mail being rerouted got through, so I was able to notice the problem -- but no other rerouted mail has reached me, which tells me that yes indeed, there is a problem. Now I get to call the post office and try and get that fixed.

We had a good work party meeting at Chuck's place. I tried to edit the 15+ page entry on the planet of Amazonas, which was painful. I got about halfway through I think before we decided to work on the big story list. Well anyway, Chuck's apartment is looking much better than on the day he moved in. Go figure. ^_^

Here is a link to the next Aardman film, called Flushed Away. You know, Aardman, maker of Wallace and Gromit and Chicken Run. This one is not actually claymation but digital, in cooperation with Dreamworks, but it looks to have all of the typical Aardman look and feel and charm. Check it out. ^_^
