Last night I logged into Second Life and found a group of people on the island sim where I live (Prometheus) playtesting the island's new dance club music stream. There was a small dance floor set up and people were dancing while different people attempted to DJ... most of them had not done it before. This is good, because I'd like to try doing it a bit too. I didn't get the chance to make a fool of myself last night, but after hearing that a couple of them were using a program called SAM3, I did a search on it and downloaded it... and I've been playing with it this morning. It sure seems simple to work with. I think all I need is a mic and a server to send my stream to, and I'll be in business. ^_^
