Here's your feel good story of the week. The short synopsis is: 5 foot 6 inch boy with autism who loves basketball, can't make the team, so becomes the team manager and does everything they ask of him for his entire high school career. Everybody loves him. In the final game (they are playing for a championship) he is allowed to suit up, and when they build a big lead the coach lets him into the game with 4 minutes left. And he proceeds to score 20 points in 4 minutes, with the entire gym cheering him on. The team carries him off the court on their shoulders.

You know, stories like that only happen in real life, it's too unbelievable to be fiction. ^_^

Okay now I feel compelled to add several more links to justify my blog entry. So here goes.

Offworld Designs has a web site. These are the guys who regularly design the Norwescon tee shirts and also did the Midwest Furfest tees this year. They really do have a lot of very clever geek/fan/otaku oriented designs, including probably a couple of Cthulhu designs that julesong hasn't seen yet. ^_^

I haven't linked to Engrish.com in a while. And who could resist Doo-Doo Rice Pop Brown Rice Bbungs?
