Weekend

Lessee... Saturday I went to the editorial board meeting. Finished edits on Chuck's story that I've had for months and months... and there wasn't really a lot to say. It's a good story, albeit the resolution seems too quick and neat.

Michael's meat pies were wonderful.

Meeting ended early. People went home early.

Sunday -- I met Sky at CompUSA and bought the Xtacy video card Michael had shown me (that he bought). Then I had to take it back (didnt even make it to my car) because I remembered that I need a PCI card nog AGP.

I also bought some sort of external sound card thing that Sky said is cool, and it looks cool.

Hung out at Sky's, watched the last of Neia Under 7. Dumb ending. Listened to some of his dj mix stuff, very cool. Jeff showed up, and we went to dinner at Lanna Thai. Great dinner. ^_^ Then we came back and watched most of Shrek (Jeff and I hadn't seen it). It got late, and Jeff had to leave, so I left too, before the movie was done.

Jeff had a 19" monitor he'd promised me in his car. Now it's in my computer room, waiting for me to get my act together and hook it up to a running computer. ^_^

After I got it and my new video/sound cards inside, I drove down to Fred Meyers and bought Shrek on dvd, then I came home and watched the rest of the movie. Fun! ^_^
