Mar. 26th, 2002 07:14 amSo I bought an Xtasy Geforce 4 mx 420 AGP video card like Mike's.
Then I took it right back in the store and exchanged it for a PCI card, a PNY Geforce 2 mx 400 card that was $20.00 less.
I was positive that I really needed a PCI card... not. D'oh! At least I didn't open it yet, so I can still take it back.
But I'm kinda thinking of just buying the Xtasy card again, and trying to put the PCI card in my old computer. I have to work around on-board video, and I wouldn't be able to play things like EQ on it, but smaller games like Diablo II or maybe some first-person shooters, I could probably get it to run those. Then I could network with my main computer... ^_^
Like I need to spend money before NWCon.
Oh, my purchase from Amazon has shipped. ^_^ This would include a rice cooker for someone...
