Well.

For anyone who has wondered if they ever caught the people who stole my car last fall and then used it for kidnapping and attempted murder, I got a call from a public defender today who wants to come out and photograph my car.

According to her, I'm on the State's list of witnesses, and a trial is scheduled for next Monday. Strangely enough, no state prosecutor has contacted me about this. Of course, there's every chance that the trial will be postponed one or more times, but if and when it comes, I'd be needed to verify that the car is mine and that the jumper cables used to tie up the victim were mine.

And that's all I know at this time. Kind of a hassle, but also good to know that the bad guys were caught and are going to trial. With any luck,
