Update Away!
Aug. 21st, 2003 01:55 pmSo I had to be sure I was up early for the public defenders who wanted to photograph my car. I got in the shower at 12:40 thinking I had plenty of time since they said they would be there after 1 pm, but in fact they showed up at about 12:45.
Oh well. They took pictures of the inside of the car, used a ruler to measure things. Mostly they seemed concerned with the space in the wheel well behind the driver's seat. Supposedly the kidnap victim was held there, but it's a pretty small space.
What else is there to say? I get paid tomorrow. Comics day is today so I'll stop there on the way in to work. I haven't seen Tom since Monday... he's asleep when I get home and is long gone by the time I get up the next day.
Ensiferum is still a way-cool band. I didn't listen to them for two days, and their songs were still stuck in my head. So I started listening to them again.
Debbi at work left her cds in the car, so I lent her some stuff. She's mostly into alternative and especially nu metal/rap metal, so despite the wide variety of cds I had, there wasn't much I thought she would like. She listened to my new Charlatans UK cd and liked it. She listened to my "Lush Best Mix" cd and liked that. After all, Lush is one of the coolest groups ever. ^_^ And she listened to my "Feel So Bad Best Mix" cd and it took her several songs to realize they weren't singing in English. Heh.
And here's the Onion's handy focus on the 87 frontrunners in the California recall election. ^_^ Although the story about President Bush having an "Attention to Deficit" disorder is funnier.
