I had a dream
Feb. 9th, 2004 01:39 pmNot the big utopia of the future Dr. Martin Luthor King type of dream, but the weird night terror that is laughable when you wake up kind of dream.
I dreamed we were at a gaming session (or writer's meeting, or something), and we were all leaving. The place was an apartment in a downtown hilly area like you get in some parts of Seattle, Queen Anne Hill, Crown Hill, whatever. It was pouring down rain, and I had apparently parked blocks away but I couldn't remember where.
Most of the dream was me running up and down streets looking for my car, which was some sort of massive red subaru bus-like station wagon that doesn't exist in real life. (I had an image in my head of what I was looking for). At one point after running down several streets and through a few stores, I realized that I'd taken my jacket off an left it somewhere, so I also didn't have my keys or other things I keep in my jacket pockets. Why I would take it off during heavy rain I don't know. ^_^
Gene and Mike came to help me instead of driving off... I guess we weren't at their apartment. ^_^ But they didn't bring their car, so we were still just running up and down streets in the rain.
Most of the rest of you people just drove off and left me. How could you? ^_^
Anyway that was about it. I never found my car before I woke up. I was wondering if I should call the police, but you know, I still wasn't sure if my car were really stolen or I just didn't know where it was yet.
My sister did that once... reported her car stolen at a mall, and then it turned out she just was confused about where she'd parked it. ^_^
