For which we can all be thankful.
The FBI today arrested Michael Scarpitti in Oregon. Michael is an eco-terrorist with Earth First links and was wanted for setting fire to some logging trucks on Mt. Hood in June 2001.
The P-I story contained this gem of a paragraph:
Three other suspects were captured after one of them told a girlfriend about the crime, according to arrest papers. The girlfriend's father is a deputy state fire marshal.
D'oh!
Like I said... criminal geniuses are hard to come by. ^_^
