(no subject)

Sunday, I think it was, I hung out with pencil_rain for a bit in Second Life, and I wound up describing the entire plot of a Tai-Pan Christmas Ghost story that I intended to write. And then I said that if I could describe it like that, I should at least write the plot down... that's the first step in actually writing it, of course, write down what you've already come up with. So a bit later I actually did that.

I'm a panelist at Midwest Furfest I guess. ^_^ A "special panelist" even. In this case "special panelist" means "Oh look, a fresh body to put on a panel!" Well, maybe not, but having watched Mike do this for Conifur, I know how these things usually tend to work. ^_^ I get to talk about writing, something I haven't done that much of, but at least I have a few days to think about it. I should try to get more on my Christmas ghost story done before then, so I can actually say I've written something more recently than last July.

I got my car's oil changed yesterday, and they told me my brake fluid was low, but they couldn't figure out why that would be, my brakes pads are still nearly brand new. They didn't have anything to replace it with so I'm about to drive over to Shucks and buy some, and maybe figure out how to put it in if I have the time. Which I might have had, but I decided to waste 10 mins or so updating my journal here. Heh.

Oh, and my friend in Second Life wants to see pictures of the con. I don't have a digital camera, so I need to force Mike to take a few pictures, or something. ^_^
