Nov. 16th, 2005 01:13 pmI am mostly ready to leave for Chicago, which happens in just less than 24 hours. I have to be mostly ready because when I come home from work tonight I'm going straight to bed, and getting up in roughly 8 hours and going straight to the airport. That way I should have more than enough time (3 hours at least) to make sure everything goes smoothly, and if I'm a little late, it won't cripple me.
I haven't worked much on my Christmas ghost story idea... but I may do more of that on the trip. If I can remember, I should print out a few character sheets (of characters who will be in the story) to take with me. ^_^
Today's link is http://www.goingbridal.com/. This was one of the links provided by the article I read in the Seattle PI in review of a book titled "505 of the Weirdest Online Stores" or something to that effect. Actually, the link isn't all that weird... it's mostly a front for a cafe press store that has a few somewhat clever images/phrases slapped on everything Cafe Press allows you to slap stuff on. Some are bridal related, some are Jesus related. I was amused by the "WTFWJD?" tee shirts, and also the phrase under the "Christian who thinks" which reads: "He came to take away your sins, not your mind." Amen. ^_^
In other news -- well, I don't really have any other news. I'm burning a few cds to listen to on my trip. There are little birds bouncing from limb to limb outside my computer room window, and squirrels running about. I'll miss that when I finally have to move from here, I have the greatest view into the back yard from where I sit right now. Anyway, I won't be posting anything more until after the con, I'm sure, so everyone have a good weekend!
