Don't Hate The Posta, Hate The Post!
Dec. 28th, 2005 10:47 pmAs if I have anything interesting to say. Wednesday is over. Tom is moving out tomorrow. By which I mean, the movers come and take all the boxes and big stuff... mostly everything, I guess. I expect there will be a lot of junk left behind still, some of which he might still want. We haven't really talked about the hundreds of taped movies and anime and tv shows that we more or less jointly own, most of which I don't want, but a few of which I do want.
I have this dream of making a New Year's resolution to write every day, at least one scene or something equal to that. The funny thing is that I tell myself that if I'm really serious, I'll start doing it now. And then I don't do it -- I haven't written anything on any of my stories since the day before our writer's night two weeks ago.
I don't really know what plans I have for New Year's. I'm looking at apartments now, some nice ones for reasonable prices, but I don't have the money to move out right at this moment, and I'm about to be paying for the whole apartment, although whether I'll be paying my current landlords or someone new I have no idea. The new landlords might want to raise the rent -- but by law they'll have to give me 30 day's notice first, or 60 days if they raise it more than 10%. Or they might not care about rent at all, since they plan to just tear the place down. It all depends on what rumour you hear, I haven't had any direct talks with my current landlords or anyone else. It would be cool if they didn't care about rent, that would allow me to move out much quicker. At the moment I don't think I have the money to put down on a new place... but it would be nice if I could plan on being out of here by the end of January.
This, as you can see, is what we call "vague plans about maybe moving soon".
