I was watching football yesterday when Tom came by, so we watched DVD vol 3 of Genshiken because he hadn't seen it, then we watched all three episodes of Kujibiki Unbalance. For those that don't know, Kujibiki Unbalance is the anime show that the guys in Genshiken follow religiously -- in other words, it's a made-up anime show, but with each DVD volume of Genshiken you get one episode of Kujibiki Unbalance. In that way it's similar to the show Gekiganger which was a pretend show seen in Martian Successor Nadesico, but which eventually existed as it's own entity.

We got dinner at Chef At Wok. After Tom left, I drove up to Lynnwood to Borders, which as predicted did not have Firefly on DVD. However, they did have Kodacha vol 2, so I picked that up and came home and watched it.

One thing I failed to do this weekend was to buy some short comic boxes from my comic shop when I stopped there on Saturday. I was going to go there Sunday (they sold me a manga that I already had, so I needed to take that back anyway) but I ran out of time.

I just realized yesterday that my car tabs are due. Past due by more than a week, actually. That's another $300 that I need to budget somehow.
