Jan. 24th, 2006 09:14 amI failed to make a post yesterday. This was in part due to when I got home, my internet service had been shut down. This was in part due to some confusion about A) When I wanted internet service installed at my new place, B) Was I transferring service or ordering a new internet service, and C) Is someone able to transfer my internet service (including shutting down my service at my old place) without me actually ever talking to Comcast (the answer would apparently be yes).
Anyway after 45 minutes on the phone last night I was told that the problem could be easily fixed, except that an important piece of the software engine was being rebooted, and also their registration software was down for maintinence. So I got up early this morning and got to be on hold for another 45 minutes, but after about an hour total, I have internet service again. :p
And I just wanted to come home, relax, make a tuna fish sandwich, and play on the internet. Turns out my bread was all moldy so the sandwich thing didn't happen either.
