A Lazy Person Is Me!
Jun. 24th, 2006 03:10 pmI seriously have no motivation on weekends. I want to stay inside and do nothing, read, play on the computer, listen to music. Even though I know I always feel better if I get out and accomplish something.
There's a nail in one of my tires again, so I have to go get that fixed. This will be the fourth tire patch (three different tires) in the last nine months. I have no idea why I'm attracting all of these nails and nobody else I know is, but luckily every one of them has been an amazingly slow leak... I haven't had an actual flat tire.
I haven't written anything. I haven't done anything much, this last week.
I saw Tom on SL last night so he's got his computer network up. I was under the impression after talking to him last week on the phone that he wanted to get together this weekend, but now he wants to do that next weekend.
We got a bonus check Friday. We got a few of those last Summer too. It's good -- not only is is about $150 in my pocket, which nobody could complain about, but it also means that the company is doing well. I'd been wondering, it hasn't felt like we've been super busy. They haven't even talked about replacing the day rate clerk position... when G retired last Fall I eventually switched to half days, half nights. It doesn't look like they really need three rate clerks on days and three on nights, so that's cool because I kind of like my current work schedule. But it only proves how useless G was... he was the highest paid rate clerk because he was supposed to be some kind of expert when they hired him, and he was the least useful.
I want to save some of the bonus money... I've been putting money in savings each check for a couple of months, and I already have $500 saved. I wish I'd been doing that for the last 5 years.
But I also think I might buy a microwave oven finally. Those aren't too expensive. ^_^
Or make a trip to Frye's.
