As for my motivation today, it started with me playing Second Life until 3:30 am. I had a lot of fun, Inara and Catherine were on and we hung out, I played music, we danced, we went and did some other stuff. I said that I was going to sleep when I logged off, but actually I stayed up an hour later to watch part of my new Ah My Goddess vol 5 dvd.

I got my tire fixed yesterday. I felt accomplished for having done that, although they pointed out that my front tire treads are wearing low and suggested prices for new tires (which would be... um... about equal to my bonus check that I haven't even deposited yet... ack.) Well, I don't have to do it right this minute, but it's something to put on my list of things to do now. "Buy new tires".

Later I drove up to Seattle, hit my comic shop, and went to the editorial board meeting. I'd eaten a large bacon double cheeseburger at 4 pm so I wasn't that hungry. Normally when I show up at genebreshears's and miertam's for a writer's night or an editorial board meeting, I haven't eaten a thing all day. I did manage to eat one tuna sandwich though. ^_^

Comics that I picked up: Gacha Gacha 4, Ah My Goddess 23, Negima! 10, Battle Angel Alita: Last Order 7, and XXXholic 7. Also the Ah My Goddess 5 dvd and the next two Inu-Yasha dvds. This was a really good haul -- I've been waiting for the next releases of both dvds, and Negima!, Ah My Goddess and Battle Angel are probably my top three favorite manga.

So anyway... pencil_rain, julesong, and jwyldragon tried their best to convince me to play WoW with them. miertam handed me the copy of the game that he'd gotten from pencil_rain a while back, and julesong and pencil_rain both promised to send me a free trial invite, although julesong then realized she didn't have any left to send at the moment. She wanted me to install the game as soon as I got home... but of course, without the free trial invite, what would be the point?

Anyway, I had dvds to watch, manga to read, and as I said I wound up spending a lot of time with my friends in Second Life. As it was I went to bed after 4 am and I really wanted to stay up and read. First thing I did when I got up today was read through 2/3rds of the Negima manga. That series is amazing.

But I was planning to maybe head to Frye's and/or maybe pick up a microwave today, so I can't lay around all day reading. ^_^
