Well this sucks
Dec. 1st, 2006 12:35 amMy apartment lease is up, and they want to increase my rent to $795.00 a month. That's a $70.00 increase over what I've been paying.
Not much I can say about that. I was prepared for an increase but that much seems pretty assinine. I'd much prefer to not have to move for at least another year, so I'll probably just suck it up and pay it, although I can certainly see myself moving out by the end of next year, no ifs ands or buts.
I'm checking want ads, mostly to see if my own apartment complex might be advertising apartments for a different rate than they want to charge me, but also to see what comparable places are going for.
