NPR interview with Rachel Flotard of Visqueen This was one of the two bands that opened for Shonen Knife when jeffreycornish and I saw them at the Tractor Tavern in October.

I wrote a little bit last night -- maybe 500 words. I baked peanut butter cookies. I did the treadmill for 40 minutes. I paid bills (well, one of them). I did some online Christmas shopping (earlier in the day -- hopefully stuff arrives in time).

I didn't do any cleaning.

Just before Thanksgiving my rolodex was stolen from my desk at work. This was so unimportant that my coworkers laughed when I claimed it was stolen, and my boss did not think it worth anyone's time to check the security cameras to determine who did it.

And yet, in the current economic climate, it is far too expensive for my company to afford to buy a replacement rolodex.
