Just before Thanksgiving my rolodex was stolen from my desk at work. This was so unimportant that my coworkers laughed when I claimed it was stolen, and my boss did not think it worth anyone's time to check the security cameras to determine who did it.

And yet, in the current economic climate, it is far too expensive for my company to afford to buy a replacement rolodex.
