No Story Writing Done, But...

On the way home from the editorial board meeting Saturday night, I was able to work out the Kismet story, finally. I know I've said many times that I had this story figured out finally, only to realize that I really didn't. But this time I have a solid plot... it will mean rewriting most of what I already have written, but it allows me to tell the full story of Kismet's exile from his village, his rise to become Captain of a pirate ship, and his downfall, and how he winds up on the Iktome. The thing is, that part's not a plot, but I've found a way to plot a story through all of that, and now I know exactly which parts of the story are important and necessary to tell the story correctly.
I haven't started writing any of this but at least I opened up my story doc tonight and sketched out the full plot in four (or maybe five) seperate chapters, so I won't forget. Now I have a framework for how to tell the story, I just need to actually write it.
