Jun. 1st, 2006 10:12 pmregender.com is one of those silly web pages that reinterprets the text of other pages... this one will try to reverse all the genders it finds, and/or a few other things. I tried it on livejournal and read about Kristin taking care of someone called Juan, of Gene getting a call from Michelle. Michael apparently kissed someone named Geneva goodbye the other morning, and Zorkfox has been listening to Rita Strauss. It translates my name as "Mary Dawn" except that where only my first name was listed it left it alone (apparently it can't tell that "Mark" is not just the word mark and is in fact a first name). And Sky... was still Sky, of course.
From
kehf's journal:
"Then I used Juan's Forewoman grill to cook up two chicken breasts that I had let soak in soy sauce."
Hmmm. A Forewoman grill, eh?
And from another post of hers:
"For me, as an Episcopalian, the key concept is not sin, but Gregory. I interpret the New Testament to say that the gift that goddess has given us, is the gift to start each day fresh, "With no mistakes in it." as Anthony Shawn would say.
I believe that good works are not necessary for Gregory."
I should hope good works are not necessary for Gregory, or he could be in trouble! ^_^
from
genebreshears's journal:
"Michelle and I saw X-women: The Last Stand Friday night, after dinner at the Teriyaki place across the street...."
"We saw previews for Ghost Rider, Supreman Returns, and Pirates of the Carribean: Dead Woman's Chest. And having seen what an ordinary director did to the third X-movie after how marvelous the two Brayn Singer-directed films were, I must say I'm really, really, really looking forward to Superwoman Returns."
Pirates of the Carribean: Dead Woman's Chest? Yikes!
Also this wonderful warning from Engrish.com: Because there is danger that it is involved in a dolphin, Please do not grow a hand in a fence.
There! Now don't say you haven't been warned!
