I'm a Moron

So I ordered three cheap cds a couple of weeks ago, and they arrived last week. These are not cds that I really wanted to add to my collection per se, these are cds with songs on them that my nephew wants on his mix cd. These are: The Drowning Pool -- Desensitized; System of a Down -- Toxicity; and The Explosion -- Black Tape.
And today I ripped them and listened to the songs he wants. Because, you know, two of these cds are marked "explicite content", and if I were to record something for my nephew with bad words in it and my sister or any of my other family found out (they would, of course) then I'd be in trouble.
(This is why on his last mix cd at Christmas he didn't get the Green Day songs he wanted, despite the fact that I like them and owned the cd already -- I don't own the "clean" version of course.)
So... naturally, the song he wants from The Explosion has an F-bomb in it. So does the song he wants from Drowning Pool.
Fortunately there's a clean version of the Drowning Pool cd for sale on Amazon for only 98 cents plus shipping and handling -- I can afford to order that. Mind you, I'll now have two versions of a cd I wouldn't necessarily have owned at all otherwise.
But this also gave me the opportunity to order the earlier Drowning Pool cd "Sinners" which has the song "Let The Bodies Hit The Floor" which I actually like. I didn't know before this what band did that song, I don't really listen to music on the radio at all.
And I guess I own a cd by the punk band The Explosion, and have no real reason to own it. (I'll have to search harder to see if a clean version exists).
I've decided against buying the Slipknot and Korn cds just to get the songs he wants from there. I do have my standards. ^_^
