gilmorelion posted. Turn your iPod on to shuffle (I always use shuffle anyway) and write down the first two sentences from each song that comes up... for the next 30 songs. Post, and let people try and guess what songs they are.
Knowing what I listen to, it should be a pretty difficult challenge. Actually knowing what I listen to, it might be a challenge for me to figure out what the first two sentences actually are. So, as best as I can determine them, here we go:
1. This morning I made the call, the one that ends it all. Hanging up I wanted to cry but dammit this well's run dry.
2. Welcome to our fortress tall, I'll take some time to show you around. Impossible to break these walls, for you see, the steel is much too strong.
3. I've never seen an angel, I've never seen the devil. I've never held the truth, or kissed a lie.
4. Tiny children on their own, they learn so fast. How to make new friends, how to play their new games.
5. Let never a man a-wooing wend that lacketh thinges three: a store of gold, an open heart, and full of charity. And this was seen of King Henry, though he lay quite alone.
6. Some folks like the summertime, when they can walk about. Strolling through the meadow green, it's pleasant, there's no doubt.
7. There was a time, a long time ago, when I could do anything I wanted. Round at your place, everyone's away, and nobody is watching.
8. Why don't you wake up and smell what you shovellin'? Be careful, you might hear something you don't want to hear.

11. (Okay, we're going to skip this one completely... song is "Black Hole In The Bucket" by Feel So Bad, the only lyrics I have access to are in Japanese and no romanized alphabet transcription is available. Sorry!)
12. Shedding my own skin. Loosing doubt deep within.
13. Sometimes like a dream you come, cut from the same cloth. The light in your palms so white I feel it in my heart.

19. As the people here grow colder, I turn to my computer and spend my evenings with it like a friend. I was loading a new program I had ordered from a magazine.

21. So God, how come every wrong's been done, with deals no Christ should allow? Once the communist, now the terrorist, with blood as thick as yours.

(Okay... there are some serious gimmee's in there... and also some stuff too obscure for anyone to have a prayer of nailing. I forgot, just because you have an obscure cover of a well-known song, doesn't mean the lyrics aren't still from a well-known song. ^_^ )
Bonus! Since three of the above songs were in non-English langauges (and one of them I didnt' even attempt to transcribe) here are three bonus tracks:

32. I flew in from Miami Beach BOAC, didn't get to bed last night. All the way the paper bag was on my knee, man I had a dreadful flight.
