Jan. 13th, 2007 03:30 pmLast night after locating the flue and opening it, I made a nice fire. It took much longer to get it going -- the one from the night before took off immediately, which prevented me from figuring out where the flue was and how to open it.
I played City of Heroes for several hours. I had fun. Before I went to bed, I checked SL and my friends were on so I popped in to say hi. Also before going to bed I browned some hamburger and tossed it into the slow cooker with a bunch of thinly sliced cabbage, diced onion, 2 cans diced tomatos, and a few spices. Water too, of course. By the time I got up it was ready to eat, and it was yummy!
My plans for the afternoon are to head to Uwajimaya to possibly pick up some bento stuff (maybe some food for bentos, maybe this book on making bento lunches, maybe something like these mini cookie cutters so I can try to do some of the things I've seen others do -- or some paper dividers for use in making bentos, stuff like that. I also might hit a bookstore to look for that book or a couple of manga. That's about it for my plans for the day.
Then maybe come back, eat some more hambuger cabbage stew, and watch football. Or play games. Or maybe -- who knows? -- write something. I was reading a manga, Magical Miracle, and it gave me an idea for a way to approach one of my stories that I haven't worked on in a few months.
