I thought I would point out this song by Rufus Wainwright simply because I know that
You can also hear it on his myspace page.
Going to a Town (Youtube video)
Rufus is the son of singer Loudon Wainwright III, who at one time was said to be "the next Bob Dylan". Of course, there were a lot of "next Bob Dylans" to come along, and none of them ever became Bob Dylan. Loudon's had a fine career as a singer-songwriter, but will probably always suffer in that his biggest hit of all time was hardly Dylanesque, or really displayed his talents as a great singer-songwriter much at all. It was the novelty hit Dead Skunk in the Middle of the Road. (The link is a really crappy homemade video, but this is the Louden Wainwright III version of the song).
Rufus's mother is Canadian singer/songwriter Kate McGarrigle. His sister is singer/songwriter Martha Wainwright. His father also had a daughter with singer Suzzy Roche of the group The Roches, and that daughter, Lucy Wainwright Roche, is also a singer-songwriter. Guess it runs in the family. ^_^ (Loudon does have a third daughter, Lexie Kelly, who has apparently not gone into the music business, at least not yet....)
