miko2Today's Song: Hate to Say I Told You So by The Hives
The Hives were one of a group of punk rock bands that appeared in early the 2000s, several of which had names that began with "The". These bands were part of a so-called garage rock revival, and included The Strokes, The Vines, and The White Stripes. Just about anybody could tell you that The White Stripes have made the biggest splash out of this group, but The Strokes are a fine band and I like at least one song each from The Vines and The Hives. In the case of The Hives, it's their rocker Hate to Say I Told You So, which puts the vicious in the title of the cd it comes from, Veni Vedi Vicious. It's just a great rock song.
That's about all I have to say about it. I don't follow the Hives that much, really. Here's the youtube video of the song
