Kate McGarrigle is the mother of Rufus and Martha Wainwright, and is an accomplished folk musician in her own right. In fact it's kind of scary how everyone in this family is not simply a singer-songwriter, but pretty much all of them are great, or at least very good, singer-songwriters. Kate performs with her sister Anna and they create beautiful vocal harmony.
Talk To Me of Mendocino is apparently one of their best and most popular songs. It's very pretty.

Hard Times Come Again No More I've always liked this song. My favorite version is sung by Willie Nelson with Daryl Angor on violin.
