Tsunami Bomb is a Calofornia punk rock band that formed in 1998 and broke up in 2005. I guess they're part of the same wave of punk bands that Me First and the Gimmee Gimmees are part of, or something. Pop-oriented punk anyway, with a female vocalist who went by the moniker Agent M. By the time of their last release (which is where this song comes from) they had no original members left, but Agent M was their vocalist throughout most of their successful years and so she kind of defined their sound a bit.
Anyway, I liked them. Agent M has a distinctive voice and they played good power-pop-punk. I've had Dawn on a Funeral Day on my iPod for months now, and I like a lot of songs from the previous cd The Ultimate Escape, including Take the Reins.
