Today's Song: Ride by Ty Tabor

Frankly I can't remember if I've even done a song of the day for King's X yet, but they're one of my favorite bands. Ty Tabor is their guitarist and 2nd lead singer (probably Doug sings more and has the more distinctive voice, but also probably Ty writes more of their music, it's hard to tell sometimes). Anyway they're both very talented and quite prolific. This song comes from Ty's fourth solo cd Rock Garden (really his third "official" solo cd). It's a great tune, could have easily been a King's X song.

The good news for King's X fans is that they are working on a new cd for Inside Out, their current record label. It's scheduled to be released in early 2008. Also due out in September is Xenuphobe 2.0, which is a project with Ty Tabor and Wally Farkas (of Galactic Cowboys). Um, that's actually due out September 1st according to his web site -- that's tomorrow. Hmm, I might have to go track that down.

Meh... on second glance this is actually their second release but probably neither are available in stores anywhere, it looks like order-direct-from-them kinda stuff.
