One of my favorite songs from all of the 4AD bands of the late 1980's/early 1990's. Great pop music. ^_^ And funny, I didn't realize until just now that it's Kim Deal singing the girl's vocals on this song. Ultra Vivid Scene was mostly Kurt Ralske, although other musicians were in the band at various points.
I have three of their cds, which is almost everything they ever released. But if all you have is Joy 1967-1990 then you're probably set, it was their best release, and contains this, their best song.
