Today's Song: Barbie Girl by Aqua

Today's song is brought to you by the fact that I just picked up this cd from my boss yesterday. I bought 10 cds off of him for $20.00. That should keep me entertained for a few days, at least. ^_^

Aqua were an oddball European dance pop group. They only had the one big hit. Speaking of oddball dance groups with one hit, maybe I should feature Dee-Lite one day.

Aqua always reminded me of bands like Shonen Knife, the B52's, and The Sugarcubes -- bands that were kitschy and more than a little left of normal. Although the comparison to Dee-Lite is probably very close too.
