Today's Song: The Course of Nature by Angra

You can find plenty of quality metal in Brazil. Now that Sepultra's star has faded somewhat, perhaps the biggest Brazilian metal band is Angra. (There is also a very good folk metal band from Brazil, Tuatha de Danann.)

Apparently Angra will on occasion mix in Brazilian folk music and rhythms into their music, but really for the most part they are a straight-ahead power metal band. On the flip side, they are a very good power metal band. I had a bunch of different power metal songs on my iPod early last Spring, and most of them I've since removed -- but Angra's Temple of Hate has remained on my iPod up to today. A few weeks ago I downloaded the song THe Course of Nature and I've really come to like that song, too. So here it is:
