typographer for a Halloween song suggestion, he very quickly thought of Lady Samantha, a ghost tale song. It was the second solo single by Elton John, released in January 17, 1969. Although he's had quite a few better-known hits and this was written at the very begining of his solo career, it's never-the-less a very good song. ^_^ And if the ghostly theme isn't Halloweeny enough, this particular video is set to footage from The Nightmare Before Christmas.Elton John - Lady Samantha
