miko2I wasted most of the weekend. I got up very early on Saturday. It was a beautiful day. I figured I'd play some City of Heroes and take a walk, then go do some Christmas shopping. Instead I played City of Heroes until Noon, and when I was about ready to log off my friend from Australia Ali logged on. I haven't talked to Ali or Nara in more than a month, so I hung out with her for a while, even though I really needed to get off and do something else. Then Nara logged on. All told, I was online from when I got up until after 4 pm, when I told them that I absolutely had to log off and try and get something done.
I did get a walk in... about 30-40 minutes. It was growing dark and was very cold, but I was determined. I checked the mail when I got back... two packages had arrived, but a third was left at the manager's office, which was now closed for the weekend. Oops.
That was most of what I managed to do on Saturday. I didn't write anything.
Sunday I didn't write anything either, but at least I didn't spend the whole day playing City of Heroes. I went out and did some grocery shopping and made some chicken vegetable & brown/wild rice soup in the crockpot. I watched the Seahawks (woo, good game!) Later I watched some anime -- more Inu-Yasha, which once again feels like it's building to the ultimate end of the story, except that I know it probably isn't really.
I spent too much money on Ebay. I'm supposed to be using my money for Christmas shopping, but when I get on Ebay then I see all of these wonderful deals on things (mostly music) that I want... cds for 1 cent, that I end up spending $7.00 to $10.00 on before I'm done. Well, actually, I think I really did get one of them for about 50 cents plus s&h. But still.
I need to do some shopping. I need to write. I have a Christmas story in mind now but there's probably not enough time before Saturday to write it... I wasn't going to write a Christmas story this year at all, but it's all I'm thinking about today.
