From Lambarena - Bach to Africa. This one's a strange beast -- it combines the music of Bach with native melodies and rhythms of Gabon in Africa. I got this for Christmas from Keith and Juli, who like several people were brave enough to buy music for me without necessarily knowing what I might want. In this case, the cd sounds so intriguing just from the description that I might well have bought it myself had I found it first. And it is quite interesting, a mix of African rhythms and singing and Bach melody. It's a strange combination but it works more often than not.

The dumb thing about this one is that the only track on iTunes is a 15-second opening track. Why in heck would you pay a buck for that?
