Today's Song: Tear Me Down by Hedwig and the Angry Inch

I'm surprised I haven't featured any Hedwig song before... and this is my favorite track, a straight-ahead rocker. I much prefer the more raw, more punkish cast recording of this song, but it's a good song regardless.

The cast recording isn't available on iTunes, but the soundtrack recording and the "Wig In A Box" version by Spoon are.

Strangely enough, Meatloaf has done a cover of this song with new lyrics by original composer Stephen Trask. That's available on iTunes too.
