miko2I didn't do that much this weekend... I played a lot of City of Heroes (actually City of Villains) and got my brute Huntress Midnight up to level 22 from about... I don't know, maybe level 15 on Friday, level 10 last weekend. It's interesting because the villain side has a lot of different enemy groups and maps and cities that I haven't experienced before. Scrapyarders, for example -- angry rioting longshoremen in plaid shirts and overalls, who attack with pick axes, explosives, and power drills. Something like that. They're kind of fun to fight. ^_^ Also the luddites -- a group of people opposed to the modern city in Cap Au Diablo and its leader -- and opposed to technology in general of course. They act a bit like a Middle Ages religious order, hand out pamplets, and attack with staves and big-ass swords.
I logged into Google talk on Friday but again didn't talk to anyone. My Tai-Pan accomplishments for the week were a picture of Zeshni'r and some dialog and partial scenes for a sequel to Angel of the Pathways that I've had in mind for a couple of years.
I replaced the video card in my gaming computer. It crashed once, but hasn't since then, and it happened during one of the most graphically intensive parts of the game that I've ever encountered so that may not be a big problem. Fry's gave me a $20.00 rebate that I didn't know came with the video card, and later when I looked at it, it was for a viewsonic LCD display, so I have no idea why they thought that applied to my video card.
I didn't walk on Friday or Saturday, which was bad of me. I walked for an hour on Sunday. Usually when I walk outside I pick up any loose change I find, and almost every time I can find at least a penny, sometimes a nickel. Sunday I found a dime, which seemed appropriate since I hadn't walked or picked up any change for two days.
I got hooked on a new manga, Vampire Doll: Guilt-Na-San. Kind of a dumb name but it's a funny manga. That's where I got my current cute little goth doll icon.
