The Levellers were an alternative folk-rock band from the early 1990's that I used to like quite a bit. This was my favorite song of theirs. I say "were" but in fact they've never broken up or stopped making music, so they are only a band from the past to me because I haven't followed them all of these years.

eddvick put this song on a complilation cd he made for me for Norwescon 2008, and it happens to be the one song on the collection that I was not only already familiar with but already considered a favorite song of mine.
