Today's Song: Having an Average Weekend by Shadowy Men on a Shadowy Planet

If we're talking about revivalist surf rock from the early 1990's, then I have to mention my own personal favorite, Canada's Shadowy Men on a Shadowy Planet. They made three cds that were a lot of fun, but they're mostly remembered for their song Having an Average Weekend which was the opening theme song for the Canadian comedy show The Kids in the Hall (which is also, sadly, one of their only songs to be found on iTunes).

So... here it is.
