My dad sent me an e-mail warning me that MacDonald's is supporting the Homosexual Agenda. They even said it that way in their press release. Well, according to the e-mail. Funny how people are quoted as saying they support the homosexual agenda, but you never actually hear anyone say those exact words. It usually sounds more like, "We've decided not to discriminate against other people."
I should probably ask my friends exactly what this agenda is... but I gather it involves subverting everything that is good, decent, and Christian -- by, um... trying to get people to treat you like a normal human being... or something. And as we all know, the command to 'love your neighbor as yourself' doesn't really apply to weirdo gay commie neighbors. It only applies to people who think exactly like you do. That's the "as yourself" part. It literally means, "Love everyone who is exactly like you... the rest of the world can go to hell."
My dad's actually a very nice person. He doesn't go around saying or doing things that are racist, sexist, or discriminatory. But he kind of lives in his own world where you can be friendly to everyone but support policies that discriminate against them because it's the Christian thing to do. Sort of like Dick Chaney and his daughter, I guess.
I think if Christ came back to earth tomorrow he'd be received by Conservative Christians about as warmly as the Pharisees received him. He'd hang out with meth addicts and gang bangers and illegal aliens and be nice to people and support the homosexual agenda (by being nice to people)... and... I don't know, maybe he'd feed a crowd of six thousand using five big macs and a diet coke. And then the Conservative Christians would cry out, and Bush would brand him a terrorist and lock him up in Guantanamo.
I'd warn people about eating at MacDonalds, but... that seems kind of redundant to me. I eat at that place once every three years, and then only if starving to death doesn't seem like a completely reasonable alternative.
