Today's Song: Alone by The Gathering

I stumbled across this video this morning while looking at the video for I Alone by Live. I like The Gathering. They're one of the most creative of the goth metal bands I got into a couple of years ago, but I've only listened to material from their older cds Mandylion and Nighttime Birds (considered two of their classics). This song comes from a more recent cd, and I liked it enough that I downloaded it from iTunes and put it on my iPod before coming to work.

My friend Oak Locke in Second Life started DJing at a goth club called The Exit this last week (in Second Life, of course). I've gone to see him and support him a couple of times, and because of that I've been getting more into goth rock and goth metal again. This song about being all alone fits in perfectly:
