Today's Song: Bumble Bee by the Casual Dots
It seems that The Casual Dots were a side-project band that produced only one cd, 2004's The Casual Dots All members were in other bands -- Christina Billotte is from Slant 6 and Quix*o*tic, Kathi Wilcox is from Bikini Kill and Fumples, and Steve Dore is from Deep Lust. The cd was released by the Kill Rock Stars label.
This is a band that, like label mates Sleater-Kinney, consists of drums and two guitarists with no bass. It works quite well.

The good news is that you can find their cd on both iTunes and eMusic. I reccomend Bumble Bee in particular. You can hear a short clip of it at Last.FM at this link.
