This is one of those things I downloaded from eMusic simply based on reading the reviews about them. The Angelic Process was a band made up of two people from Athens, GA and Jacksonville, AL. They combined drone and doom metal with shoegazer-style alternative rock -- what one person dubbed "Sigur Ros crossed with Isis" and someone else labelled "doomgazer". Some of it was quite interesting. I downloaded this track after listening to the tracks they had on their Myspace account several times -- in general, I like this track but I'm not sure how much I'd like a full album of this stuff. It's definitely different though.
Apparently one of the two members, Kris Angylus, died on April 29, so that's probably it for the band.
