One of the cds I picked up last week at Half Price Books was Frenching the Bully by The Gits. This was the Seattle punk band of the late 80's/early 90's whose lead singer, Mia Zapata, was brutally murdered (they eventually tracked her killer down years later via dna testing).
Anyway I only owned one or two songs of theirs on compilation albums before this, but I've always liked their no-nonsense, straight-ahead, high-energy punk music. Very good punk music! So now I have one of their only cds (there were one or two others, I think).
